About the Franklin County Cooperative Inspection Program

The Franklin County Cooperative Inspection Program is a community service, mandated by the State and financed by 16 member towns and inspection fees. This program was formed in 1975 with the intent to provide building inspection coverage and zoning enforcement for small, rural towns. It became so successful that Plumbing and Electrical inspection services were added to it in 1986. The FCCIP is housed in Room 25 of the Franklin County Courthouse.
