About Engineering Services
The FRCOG has recently contracted with Stantec Consulting Services to provide engineering services to the FRCOG’s member towns. Through this contract, towns can access engineering services at a 10% discounted rate. Stantec, located in Northampton and formerly Dufrense-Henry, is a full-service engineering firm that has worked in every Franklin County community on both large and small engineering projects. Stantec has expertise in roadway design, bridge and culvert design, environmental permitting, wastewater treatment planning, and other professional design and consulting services in planning, engineering, architecture, surveying, economics, and project management.
The partnership with Stantec was pursued after the FRCOG closed its Engineering program on July 1, 2007. The FRCOG recognizes the value of having on-call engineering services and easy access to advice and projects, and was committed to ensuring that that service still be available to its member communities.
The FRCOG will continue to administer and manage the county road process and will maintain the county highway records.
